IT19795: MAPPING NODE MAY REPORT FAILURE JAVA.LANG.NOCLASSDEFFOUNDERROR

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• In certain conditions a Mapping node may fail to process a
  message reporting a BIP error of the following format
  
  BIP4395E: Java exception: 'java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError'
  xmap_<normalised map schema and name>.class
  initialization failure
  
  The issue is intermittent, occurring after a redeployment of
  maps. Once the error has occurred the class file is internally
  recreated and the issue is normally not encountered again until
  another deployment.
  

Local fix

• The Mapping node will recreate the required class file and the
  issue may only be encountered again following a redeployment.

  All users of IBM Integration Bus V10.0 who use the Mapping node
  with Graphical Data Maps.
  
  
  Platforms affected:
  z/OS, MultiPlatform
