IT19752: SLOW ODBC CONNECTION PROCESSING WHEN USING DFDL

Error description

• In certain cases multiple references to the DFDL libraries
  may be created and not removed as messages are processed.
  This can cause a slowdown over time when these library
  references need to be examined such as when connecting
  to an ODBC datasource or other resource.

Problem summary

  USERS AFFECTED:
  All users of IBM Integration Bus on AIX who use a DFDL Schema
  and other ODBC datasources.
  
  
  Platforms affected:
  AIX

  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  On AIX references to libraries are not being reused and so each
  parse or serialize of a DFDL message results in another
  reference to the library being created. This can cause slowdowns
  when accessing an ODBC datasource as it checks each reference.
  

Problem conclusion

• The product now includes an updated version of the DFDL library
  that addresses the issue.
