Error description
It is not possible to override the hardcoded list of trusted Certificate Authorities when connecting via HTTPS using either the SalesforceRequest node or other loopback request nodes. This prevents the use of TCP proxies such as DataPower from being used as network gateways if they use certificates signed by an internal CA. This problem is caused because the version of node.js shipped with IIB fixpack 10.0.0.8 and prior fixpacks does not allow the list of trusted CAs to be customized.

**************************************************************** USERS AFFECTED: All users of IBM Integration Bus version 10 using the SalesForce Request Node or the Loopback Request Node. Platforms affected: Linux on x86-64 platform, Windows on x86-64 platform **************************************************************** PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: It is not possible to override the hardcoded list of trusted Certificate Authorities when connecting via HTTPS using either the SalesforceRequest node or other loopback request nodes. There are a number of resource name changes between WebSphere Message Broker and IBM Integration Bus Version 9.0. Problem conclusion
The level of node.js which is shipped with the product has been upgraded to 4.8.0.0. This provides the environment variable NODE_EXTRA_CA_CERTS which can be set to point to a .pem file containing trusted certs. This env var only applies to HTTPS traffic made via node.js, so in particular in IIB this applies to the SalesForceRequest Node and the Loopback Request Node. --------------------------------------------------------------- The fix is targeted for delivery in the following PTFs: Version Maintenance Level v10.0 10.0.0.9 The latest available maintenance can be obtained from: http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=849&uid=swg27006041 If the maintenance level is not yet available, information on its planned availability can be found on: http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=849&uid=swg27006308 ---------------------------------------------------------------
