Error description
Per IBM Spectrum Proctect 8.1 documentation the recommended (and only listed) filesystems for the DB/Log/Stgpool on the Linux server is ext3 and if RHEL 6.4+ then ext4. XFS is supported and should be included in the documentation: https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/en/SSEQVQ_8.1.0/perf /r_chklist_srvsys.html - Checklist for the server hardware and the operating system Linux: Use either the ext3 or ext4 file system for the database, recovery log, and storage pool data. Use the following file system that is appropriate for your operating system and level: For Red Hat Enterprise Linux x86_64, use the ext3 or ext4 file system. If Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.4 or later is installed, use the ext4 file system. For SUSE Linux Enterprise Server and for Red Hat Enterprise Linux ppc64, use the ext3 file system. DB2 11.1 is now supporting XFS under RHEL.
