Error description

  • Importing multiple WSDL files that use the same targetNamespace
into the same shared library can lead to errors at runtime when
handling SOAP response messages if the WSDL files contain
    bindings with the same name.

SOAP Request and Async Response nodes produce errors of the
    form:

    BIP3602E: The Web service payload
    '{Http://test.service.ibm.com}EditUserResponse' does not match
an operation described by WSDL binding 'HttpBinding_Edit' in
    file 'MyTests/UserService.wsdl'.

Local fix

  • Import the WSDL files into separate shared libraries to avoid
    the errors.

Problem summary

  • ****************************************************************
    USERS AFFECTED:
All users of IBM Integration Bus v10.0 importing multiple WSDL
files that use the same targetNamespace into the same shared
    library.

    Platforms affected:
    z/OS, MultiPlatform

    ****************************************************************
    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
WSDL handling code in shared libraries did not take the WSDL
file name into account when creating internal maps of services
and bindings, which prevented correct handling of files
containing services and/or bindings in the same namespace.

Problem conclusion

  • The product has been corrected to add the file name to the
lookup key in addition to the existing namespace and other
unique characteristics, and enables disambiguation of
    same-namespace services and bindings.
