Error description

  • IBM Sterling B2B Integrator V5020600:

There is a field in the Create Trading Partner Rest API named
"Custom Protocol Name". That field has a description next to it
of "The protocol BP name as mentioned in the AFTExtensions
file." The description is incorrect. It should not include "BP"
and should have a different file name. It should say "The
protocol name as mentioned in the AFTExtensionsCustomer.xml
file." If the BP name rather than the protocol name is used,
then a SQL 400 error is returned. That error does not give any
idea as to which field is the problem.

Local fix

  • Use the protocol name rather than the BP name in that field.
Below is an example line from such a file. In it,
"myFTPS-protocol" is the name of the protocol, while
"special_FTPS_Delivery" is the name of the BP.
