Error description

  • The Mapping Node will fail to read the value of XML attributes
in an input message tree that has been created as a SOAP domain
tree using a transform node, for example another Mapping node.

This does not occur when a Mapping node reads a SOAP tree
created directly by a SOAPInput node, since the SOAP nodes
create the tree with an XMLNSC parser owning the Body and
    Header sections.

Additional Symptom(s) Search Keyword(s): Mapping Node,
    SOAPInput

Local fix

  • If the SOAP domain tree cannot be created in the same manner as
one proceed by a SOAPInput node, having XMLNSC parser owned
sections in Body and Header, the fix must be applied.

    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
The Mapping Node will fail to read the value of XML attributes
in an input message tree that has been created as a SOAP domain
tree using a transform node, for example another Mapping node.

This does not occur when a Mapping node reads a SOAP tree
created directly by a SOAPInput node, since the SOAP nodes
create the tree with an XMLNSC parser owning the Body and
    Header sections.

There are a number of resource name changes between WebSphere
Message Broker and IBM Integration Bus Version 9.0. For details

Problem conclusion

  • The Mapping Node is corrected to enable it to read the value of
XML attributes in an input message tree that has been created as
a SOAP domain tree using a transform node.
