Error description
When installing IBM Sterling B2B Integrator using the IBM Installation Manager (IIM), which is mandatory since version 5.2.6.x, the software is not installed to the specified "<installLocation>" but to "<installLocation>\install" instead.
Local fix
Upgrading to 5.2.6 keep the existing install location. Thus installing an old version of ISBI that does not require IIM and then upgrade to latest release might be a work around to do a fresh install to a specified install location.
Problem summary
When doing a fresh install of IBM Sterling B2B Integrator, the installation actually happens inside <install> directory inside the given install location in IM GUI or response file.
Problem conclusion
The code was incorrectlly adding the install to the folder structure provided during install process
