Error description

  • When a flow uses maps that are selected using LE override it
consumes higher CPU in the Mapping node than when the same Map
is configured on the Mapping node.

Problem summary

  • ****************************************************************
    USERS AFFECTED:
All users of IBM Integration Bus v10.0 using the Mapping node
    with a LocalEnvironment override.

    Platforms affected:
    MultiPlatform, z/OS

    ****************************************************************
    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
IBM Integration Bus v10 consumes higher CPU when maps in the
flow are selected dynamically using a LocalEnvironment override
rather than statically by being configured on the Mapping node.

There are a number of resource name changes between WebSphere
Message Broker and IBM Integration Bus Version 9.0. For details

    tools.mft.doc/bb23814_.htm

Problem conclusion

  • The product has been updated to use caching of dynamically
loaded maps to prevent initialization operations taking place
every subsequent time a map is selected dynamically using a
    LocalEnvironment override in a flow.
