Error description

  • The GDM map can be corrupted when wiring up a cache get. The
map will be shown with no wires and the cache get appears as
square with no text in it.

The .log file in the workspace shows the following exception:
    java.lang.ClassCastException:

Problem summary

  • ****************************************************************
    USERS AFFECTED:
All users of IBM Integration Toolkit using the Mapping Node and
    the get cache transform.

    Platforms affected:
Linux on x86-64 platform, Windows on x86-64 platform

    ****************************************************************
    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
When configuring the mapping node to use the cache transform, it
is possible to corrupt the map making it
    unusable.
The map should show a problem marker but instead the wires are
missing and the transform appears as an empty square.

There are a number of resource name changes between WebSphere
Message Broker and IBM Integration Bus Version 9.0. For details
