IT18510: DFDL PARSER CAN SIGABRT IF THE ESCAPEBLOCKEND CHARACTER IS NOT PRESENT IN THE DATA

Error description

• When DFDL parses an element that uses an escapeKind of
  escapeBlock and that element misses the escapeBlockEnd character
  then the DFDL parser fails with a SIGABRT signal.
  This problem is observed only with elements whose 'Length Kind'
  property value is not 'delimited'.

  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  When DFDL parses an element that uses an escapeKind of
  'escapeBlock' and that element misses the escapeBlockEnd
  character then the DFDL parser fails with a SIGABRT signal which
  causes the DataFlowEngine to abend. This problem is observed
  only with elements whose 'Length Kind' property value is not
  'delimited'.

Problem conclusion

• The product now includes an updated version of the DFDL library
  that addresses the issue.
