Error description

  • Misleading error "The user is not authorized to use the
    administration console." in Web GUI when db2 server was down.
    After trying to login and getting this message, in the
    /opt/IBM/TPC/ewas/profiles/WebServerProfile/logs/webServer/Syste
    mOut.log
    there is something like:

    Authentication failed for root. The user id or password might
    have been entered incorrectly or misspelled.  The user id might
    not exist, the account could have expired or disabled.  The
    password might have expired.
