Error description

  • The z/OS JCL commands allow values to be specified which contain
    spaces by using XML mnemonics which are then converted into the
    real character when the value is used. The mqsisetdbparms
    command is not doing this for the username property and so the
    mnemonic is being written into the registry value for the
    username which is then used when the userid is later retrieved
    leading to errors.
    The following command should convert the mnemonic into a
    space before storing the username value:

      mqsisetdbparms INODE10 -n ldap::LDAP
         -u "CN=12345,OU=L3,OU=IIB Users,DC=ibm,DC=com"
         -p password
