APAR status

Error description

  • 5.2.x upgrade failure at web-based GUI stage fails; partial
    rollback option deletes the entire ewas
    profile for the web-based GUI and the upgrade cannot resume.
    Evidence of the rollback having failed is when the installer is
    re-run (to resume a failed
    installation), it pops up the following message:
    BPCin0268E the installation program could not stop the web-based
    GUI.  You must manually stop the
    web-based GUI by running the
    <install_dir>\scripts\stopTPCWeb.bat script
    RECREATE STEPS:
    attempt to resume a failed upgrade, observe BPCIN0268E message
