Error description

  • If a queue manager that has been configured for disaster
recovery is no longer available at the main site it can be
started on the appliance at the recovery site. The queue manager
on the recovery appliance can be started once it has been made
the primary instance using the makedrprimary command. If the
state of the queue manager on the recovery appliance is
inconsistent (that is, replication failed from the main site),
the queue manager is reverted to the previous saved snapshot of
    its data.

If the appliance is rebooted while the queue manager is being
reverted to the snapshot then this operation does not
successfully complete once the appliance has restarted. An FDC
is also produced that indicates a logical volume is missing for
    the queue manager.

Local fix

  • Users should avoid rebooting the appliance while a queue manager
is being reverted to a previously saved snapshot.
