Error description

• PCOM 6.0.16 with Vietnamese host code page.
  
  This issue happen randomly when user inputs data or tries to
  access another screen. It happens more often on PCs that have
  less than 4GB RAM. User must open Task Manager to end PCOM task
  and re-open again.

  * such as copy/paste of characters on the emulator screen may  *
  * result in error message PCSERR100.                           *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *

  In an IBM Personal Communications emulator session configured
  with Vietnamese host code page, edit operations such as
  copy/paste of characters on the emulator screen may cause the
  following error message to be reported:
  
  PCSERR100 - Error allocating <nnn> bytes of memory from the
  Windows global memory heap. Close one or more Windows
  applications and try again.
  
  With this, the emulator session would either crash or be
  rendered unusable.
  

Problem conclusion

• While carrying out edit operations, it was found that memory
  leak was caused due to incorrect management of translation
  tables used for Vietnamese host code page.
  
  PCSWS.EXE code changes have been made to address the memory
  leak.
  
  Fix scheduled for IBM Personal Communications 6.0.19 Refresh
  Pack and 12.0.2.0 Refresh Pack
