APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Updating SSH Remote Profile with current password makes
password garbled. Using that ProfileID in SFTP Client Begin
Session Service leads to Cannot Authenticate error.

Local fix

  • If password is found garbled in SSH Remote Profile and
ProfileID unusable in SFTP Cleint Begin Session Service, edit
profile and re-type password and save it. It should correct the
    password back to good one.
