Error description

  • Problem Statement:

The Cache Statistics section of the Business Process Queue Usage
page does not accurately display statistics as reported
in Queue Watcher > View Context Cache Entries.
    Recommendation:
Remove the Cache Statistics section from the page and monitor
    cache usage from Queue Watcher.

When simultaneously running Business Processes greater than the
maximum number of threads allowed for the queue, we use
Queue Watcher > View Context Cache Entries page and
see processes added to the queue from either IN-MEMORY or
    SOFT-REF SOFT-OBJ ON-DISK.

    For example:
Soft Reference Cache Slots in use=1
Soft Reference Cache Bytes in use=103936
    Memory Cache Slots in use=7
    Memory Cache Bytes in use=29984
    Disk Cache Slots in use=1
    Disk Cache Bytes in use=103936
    Files in Disk Cache=1

In the Business Process Queue Usage page, you see the Cache
Memory Usage, Cache Soft Reference Usage and Cache Disk Usage
    is updated accordingly.
In the Cache Statistics section of the page, the "Total Number
of BPs in Cache" count only includes the number of processes in
"SOFT-REF SOFT-OBJ ON-DISK" (from Queue Watcher) and the "Soft"
and "Mem" counts are always 0 (zero) and never updated.
