Error description
There are two shared libraries each containing an XML schema. The two schemas have the same target namespace and contain elements or types with the same names. An example would be that one schema is the next version of the other schema. A cast in a message map that references an element or type in one schema may be changed incorrectly to reference an element or type in the second schema when the map is saved and reopened in the mapping editor.
Local fix
Problem summary
**************************************************************** USERS AFFECTED: All users of IBM Integration Toolkit v10 who create maps that use two message models where the two message models have the same target namespace and many named components with the same name but are different message models. Platforms affected: MultiPlatform **************************************************************** PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The Mapping editor fails to distinguish between two elements used in casts which have the same Qualified Name (QName) but come from two different schemas.
Problem conclusion
The Mapping editor now includes the schema when determining if two elements are identical. Two elements must have the same Qualified Name (QName) and must come from the same schema in order for the two elements to be considered the same. --------------------------------------------------------------- The fix is targeted for delivery in the following PTFs: Version Maintenance Level v10.0 10.0.0.6 The latest available maintenance can be obtained from: http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=849&uid=swg27006041 If the maintenance level is not yet available, information on its planned availability can be found on: http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=849&uid=swg27006308 ---------------------------------------------------------------
