APAR status

Error description

• SI 5.2.6 and lower
  
  During the deletion of the service configuration for a
  SwiftNet7 adapter under Deployment->Services->Configuration the
  entry in the database table SWNET_ADAPTER is not deleted.
  
  This lead only to an inspection of the database content. No
  other impact to the system.
  
  Steps for recreation:
  1. Start a current SwiftNet7 adapter
  2. Stop the current SwiftNet7 adapter
  3. Create a copy of the Swiftnet7 adapter
  4. Start the copy of the adapter
  5. Stop the copy of the adapter
  6. SQL select * from SWNET_ADAPTER: both adapter listed
  7. Delete the copy of the adapter under
  Deployment->Services->Configuration
  8. SQL select * from SWNET_ADAPTER: both adapter still listed
  

Local fix

  Circumvention:
  The SWNET_ADAPTER record can be manually deleted by the
  customer:
  delete SWNET_ADAPTER where adapter_name = 'adapter name'
  
  Deleting or leaving the old record in place will not impact
  Sterling B2B Integrator at all.
