IT15354: MANDATORY UDP IN SUB FLOW WITH NO VALUE ISN'T MARKED AS ERROR

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• If a sub flow has a mandatory User Defined Prooperty (UDP) and
  the default value is set initially but then removed, there will
  be no validation error against the empty default value when the
  message flow is built..
  

Local fix

• User can open subflow file in a text editor, look for the user
  defined property ( a <eStructuralFeatures... with attribute name
  is the property name), it has attribute defaultValueLiteral with
  empty value (defaultValueLiteral=""), remove this attribute and
  save the file. The flow file builder will now mark the error to
  the file.

  All users of IBM Integration Toolkit v9.0 and v10.0 using the
  flow editor to define a mandatory user defined property (UDP) in
  a sub flow.

  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  If user provides a default value to a mandatory user defined
  property (UDP) in a subflow, and removes the default value later
  using the flow editor, the default value attribute is still kept
  in the file and the value is empty. When the flow builder
  validates the message flow, the mandatory UDP has an empty value
  as its default value, so the message flow file is not marked
  with any error.
  

Problem conclusion

• The toolkit now will remove the default value attribute from the
  flow file if user set the default value to an empty string. The
  flow builder will mark the message flow file with an error if a
  mandatory UDP doesn't have default value.
