IT15247: UNABLE TO CREATE A PATTERN AUTHORING JAVA AND PHP PROJECT ON WINDOWS SERVER 2012 R2

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The option to create a Pattern Authoring Java and PHP Project
  is not available when running File->New->Other on Windows
  Server 2012 R2. The options to create a Pattern Authoring Java
  Class and a Pattern Authoring Property Editor are also not
  available for this Operating System.
  
  This problem is restricted to Release 2 of the Windows Server
  2012.
  

Local fix

• Use the IBM Integration Toolkit on an operating system other
  that Windows Server 2012 R2.

  The ability to create a Pattern Authoring Java and PHP Project
  is not enabled on Windows Server 2012 R2.  The ability to create
  a Pattern Authoring Java Class and a Pattern Authoring Property
  Editor are also not enabled on Windows Server 2012 R2.
  

Problem conclusion

• The ability to create a Pattern Authoring Java and PHP Project,
  a Pattern Authoring Java Class, and a Pattern Authoring Property
  Editor are enabled on Windows Server 2012 R2.
