Error description

  • If a FileRead node is in a subflow, then when that subflow is
included in a main flow, the FileRead node may not work as
    expected.

For example, if the FileRead node has "Remote Transfer"
    selected,
    and "Transfer Protocol" = "SFTP",
then it may read from local directories instead.

Additionally, the FileInput, FileRead, and FileOutput
nodes in FTP/SFTP mode always require a valid security identity
    to be set.

This is incorrectly required for nodes that are in subflows,
where the security identity is left blank/invalid but promoted
    to the parent flow
(where it is set to a valid value).

Problem summary

  • ****************************************************************
    USERS AFFECTED:
All users of IBM Integration Bus v9.0 and v10.0 with the
FileInput and FileRead nodes reading files from remote FTP or
    SFTP servers.

    Platforms affected:
    z/OS, MultiPlatform

    ****************************************************************
    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
If a FileInput or FileRead node is placed into a subflow, and
that node is configured to read files from a remote FTP or SFTP
server, then that node may not function correctly. It may not
appear to work in FTP or SFTP mode, and may use incorrect
    directories.

There are a number of resource name changes between WebSphere
Message Broker and IBM Integration Bus Version 9.0. For details
