Error description

  • ESQL variables declared as EXTERNAL (User Defined Properties)
at the ESQL SCHEMA level may not be resolved correctly at
runtime following a re-deploy of a shared library. This does
not directly cause an exception to be thrown, but is likely to
cause an ESQL message tree navigation statement to fail.

The problem can occur when the external variables are declared
in an application message flow, and a re-deploy of a referenced
shared library causes the application to be updated.

    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
ESQL variables declared as EXTERNAL (User Defined Properties) at
the ESQL SCHEMA level, that are used to denote a namespace, may
not be resolved correctly at runtime following a re-deploy of a
shared library. This does not directly cause an exception to be
thrown, but is likely to cause an ESQL message tree navigation
    statement to fail.

The problem can occur when the external variables are declared
in an application message flow, and a re-deploy of a referenced
shared library causes the application to be updated.

There are a number of resource name changes between WebSphere
Message Broker and IBM Integration Bus Version 9.0. For details
