connecting.

* sessions may fail to connect to a host when multiple         *
* emulator sessions are launched. IBM Personal Communications  *
* emulator screen goes blank with the status reported as       *
* connected.                                                   *

* RECOMMENDATION:                                              *

One or more IBM Personal Communications 3270 emulator sessions
may fail to connect to a host when multiple emulator sessions
are launched. IBM Personal Communications emulator screen goes
blank with the status reported as connected. Sessions fail to
connect as they do not respond to the read command received from
the host.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • PCSTLNET.DLL has been changed to respond to the read command
request from the host. With this fix, read command from the host
will be correctly processed and responded with the buffer
contents.
Fix scheduled for IBM Personal Communications 6.0.17 Refresh
Pack and 12.0.0.1 Fix Pack
