APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The customer is using PCOM 6.0.14 or 6.0.16 on Windows Embedded
  Standard edition. The problem fixed by APAR IT04133 seems to
  occur again when printing Grid Line data. The hand does not
  occur if printing Grid Line data on Windows 7 Professional
  edition.

  In a Windows (Japanese) environment, IBM Personal Communications
  is configured with a printer session to a 3270 host. When a
  print job is submitted that results in very large print data
  sent to the printer session in multiple 3270 data packets, the
  printer session may hang.
  

Problem conclusion

• The code was found to be erring while processing the multiple
  data packets, ending up incorrectly handling the print data when
  it spanned into a chain of multiple packets under certain
  circumstances. PCSTLNET.DLL code has been changed to correctly
  set the flags to mark the beginning and end of the print data
  coming in multiple packets.
  Fix scheduled for PCOM 6.0.17 Refresh Pack and 12.0.0.1 Fix Pack
