Error description

  • The WebSphere MQ 7.5 queued Pub/Sub broker process amqfcxba
    consumes a
    large amount of memory.
    

Local fix

  • Restart the queue manager to release memory
    

Problem summary

    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
    Memory was leaked in the amqfcxba process when a subscription
    registration request was made on behalf of an application and
    the internal MQSUB did not complete with an OK return code.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The MQ queue manager code was corrected so that this memory leak
    no longer occurs wihtin the amqfcxba process.
