Local fix

Problem summary

  • ****************************************************************
    USERS AFFECTED:
Users running MQ applications which often connect and disconnect
from the queue manager will be most
likely to be affected by this problem.

    Platforms affected:
    MultiPlatform

    ****************************************************************
    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
A small timing window meant that it was possible for the MQ
queue manager agent process (amqzlaa0) could fail to correctly
handle the error case where an interprocess communication pipe
    had timed out and expired.

Problem conclusion

  • The MQ agent process has been modified to appropriately handle
the timeout in the MQ IPCC pipe.
