Error description
If you have deployed flows as a service, MB Explorer allows you to select the Service and save service interface files. The dialog box appears empty for one particular service. The issue is that the service has a path similar to: com.myapp.myinterface.customerinterface When generating the interface you get just gen.customerinterface. The problem is that the runtime is not registering this flow as a service and when the MB Explorer queries the interface, the report being returned does not find the interface. Additional Symptom(s) Search Keyword(s):
Local fix
Limit the project path to have only one directory. For example, gen/customerinferface
Problem summary
**************************************************************** USERS AFFECTED: All users of IBM Integration Bus Version 9 and 10 and Service Message flows. Platforms affected: z/OS, MultiPlatform **************************************************************** PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: If a customer has deployed flows as a service, the Explorer has an option to select the Service and save service interface files. The dialog box appears empty for one particular service. The issue is that the service contains forward slashes '/' in its path, e.g. com/myapp/myinterface/customerinterface When automatically generating the interface using the Toolkit you get gen/customerinterface which works fine. The problem is that the runtime is not registering this flow as a service and when the Explorer queries the interface, the report being returned does not find the interface. In V10 of the product, a similar issue occurs when using the Web Interface by selecting the Service and the drop down menu, the 'Save Interface Files' is grayed out. <i>There are a number of resource name changes between WebSphere Message Broker and IBM Integration Bus Version 9.0.
