Version 7.1.4.2 Interim Fix: Data Protection for Microsoft Exchange Server

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When using either:
  - Tivoli Storage Manager for Mail: Data Protection for Microsoft
  Exchange Server
  - Tivoli Storage FlashCopy Manager for Microsoft Exchange Server
  to restore an Exchange mailbox into alternative mailbox folder,
  the dumpster folder contents are not restored. This occurs when
  either the command line interface or the MMC GUI interface
  occurs.
  

Local fix

• Restore mailbox content into unicode PST or restore into the
  original mailbox location

Problem conclusion

• Tivoli Storage  FlashCopy Manager for Microsoft Exchange Server
  and Tivoli Storage Manager for Mail: Data Protection for

  folder contents when restoring Exchange mailbox into an
