Error description

  • When attempting to connect to an Oracle data source that has a
    security banner defined, the ODBC driver returns an error if the
    banner is more than 167 characters long.

    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
    It is not possible to connect to Oracle databases using the
    DataDirect ODBC driver when the Oracle database has a security
    banner enabled that is more than 167 characters long.
