Error description

  • Deployment of a set of Graphical Data Maps for a Mapping node
can fail with a BIP message of the following form:

BIP3944E: The map script generation for QName
'' has failed, with the following
details: Location: '' Internal Error Number: '0' Error Message:
'com.ibm.msl.mapping.xml.node.XMLTypeNode incompatible with
com.ibm.msl.mapping.node.DataContentNode'.

Local fix

  • The problem is intermittent, and the deploy may succeed on a
retry.

Graphical Data Maps.

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
Deployment of a set of Graphical Data Maps for a Mapping node
can fail with a BIP message of the following form:

BIP3944E: The map script generation for QName '' has failed,
with the following details: Location: '' Internal Error Number:
'0' Error Message: 'com.ibm.msl.mapping.xml.node.XMLTypeNode
incompatible with com.ibm.msl.mapping.node.DataContentNode'.

There are a number of resource name changes between WebSphere
Message Broker and IBM Integration Bus Version 9.0. For details

Problem conclusion

  • The internal generation of the runtime executable script from
the deployed .map file is corrected to ensure that the incorrect
type conversion does not occur and deployment of the maps can
complete successfully.
