APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • In the Application Development view, it is possible to
    right-click on an application, and select "Focus on
    Application", and only the contents of that application appear
    in the view. When in this mode, if the user right-clicks the
    application and selects the New (flow, subflow, or ESQL) wizard,
    the wizard does not launch. The same is true when "Focus on
    Integration Service" is active.
    

Local fix

  • A work-around is to press the "Clear all filters" toolbar button
    to stop focusing on the application (or service), create the
    flow (or subflow or esql), and then select "Focus on
    Application" (or Integration Service) to return to focused mode.

    USERS AFFECTED:
    All users of IBM Integration Toolkit who have set the
    'Application Development' view into 'Focus on Application' or
    'Focus on Integration Service' mode, and then attempt to bring
    up the 'New > Message Flow', 'New > Subflow', or 'New > ESQL
    File' wizard.

    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
    In the Application Development view, it is possible to
    right-click on an application, and select "Focus on

Problem conclusion

  • The product now launches the New (flow, subflow, or ESQL)
    wizards when "Focus on Application" or "Focus on Integration
    Service" modes are on in the Application Development view.
