Error description

• When using Tivoli Storage Manager for Virtual Environments: Data
  Protection for VMware to create a VM backup of a VM with
  application protection enabled,
  any query operations performed during the backup with:
  -Tivoli Storage Manager for Databases: Data Protection for
   Microsoft SQL Server
  -Tivoli Storage Manager for Mail: Data Protection for Microsoft
   Exchange Server
  - Tivoli Storage FlashCopy Manager for Microsoft SQLServer
  - Tivoli Storage FlashCopy Manager for Microsoft Exchange Server
  will only return information regarding VMSS and Legacy backup
  types while the VM backup operation is active. Once the VM
  backup operation completes, all backup up types (VMSS, Legacy,
  and VSS), will be displayed in query output.
  

Local fix

• Wait until the completion of the VM backup operation before
  using one of the referenced products to query backups.

Problem conclusion

• The Tivoli Storage Manager Client / FlashCopy Manager VSS
  Requestor has been updated so that when a Tivoli Storage Manager
  for Virtual Environments: Data Protection for VMware application
  protection backup is running, it will not prevent backup query
  command output from including VSS backup information.
