Error description

  • In a multi-system configuration the customer could not create a
snapshot from system 1 for an instance they have deployed on
system 2. They can create it for an instance that is deployed on
both systems and also create it on the same system on which it
is deployed.

  • N/A

Problem summary

  • The snapshot code was not handling the condition where there
is no local instance of the deployment.

Problem conclusion

  • A code fix is being provided in PureApplication System version
2.1.0.1.
