APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • User noticed that the following events occurred on their
PureApplication System:

CWZIP6009E The opt directory of VIOS Server-[identifier] is
greater than or equal to 90 percent used.

CWZIP6010W The opt directory of VIOS Server-[identifier] is
greater than or equal to 75 percent used.

Local fix

  • If the customer sees the CWZIP6009E error they can
contact IBM Support to have directories cleaned.

Problem summary

  • The are instances where the /opt directory on the file system is
being filled with logging files from ITM services. The files
that should be removed are under the /opt/IBM/ITM/logs/
directory.

Problem conclusion

  • Code is being added in PureApplication System version 2.1.0.0 to
check the file system space and run an ITM log file cleaning
step if the file system is over 75% full.
