Error description

  • FlashCopy Manager inquires the LUNs of all datastores in the
    vCenter via VMware API.
    When the API call retrievePropertiesByTraversal is used for a
    disconnected ESX host, the function cannot return the
    LUN Information for the disks attached to this host.
    FlashCopy Manager may react by termination with a
    segmentation fault to this situation.

Local fix

  • Remove the disconnected ESX-hosts from the vCenter,
    check with the MOB browser that the host is gone,
    then restart the FlashCopy Manager backup.
