Error description

  • When trying to import XSDs into a Message Model, the toolkit
    is sometimes adding 'ibmSchExtn' prefixes to the global
    elements.

    When multiple message models are linked to the same application
    this can result in the following error :

    "Global element {urn:electro:
    service/messages/schema/operational/faultmessages/v01.01}
    BusinessErrorFaultResp exists more than once within the
    Application CompositeApplication. Exists in:
    /ModelA/ModelA/service/messages/schema/operational/faultmessages
    /v0101/FaultMessages.xsd,
    /ModelB/ModelB/service/messages/schema/operational/faultmessages
    /v0101/FaultMessages.xsd"

Local fix

  • Add ibmSchExtn:docRoot="true" to the global element that is
    highlighted in the error message

    this can result in the following error :

    "Global element {urn:electro:
    service/messages/schema/operational/faultmessages/v01.01}
    BusinessErrorFaultResp exists more than once within the
    Application CompositeApplication. Exists in:
    /ModelA/ModelA/service/messages/schema/operational/faultmessages
    /v0101/FaultMessages.xsd,
    /ModelB/ModelB/service/messages/schema/operational/faultmessages
