Local fix

Problem summary

  • ****************************************************************
    USERS AFFECTED:
All users of IBM Integration Toolkit V9.0 who import the
    soapenv11.xsd, soapenv12.xsd and xml.xsd IBM supplied schema
    files into their toolkit workspace.

    Platforms affected:
    MultiPlatform

    ****************************************************************
    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
When the toolkit imports the xml.xsd IBM supplied schema file
into a workspace, it serializes the loaded resource. The content
of the resultant schema file ends up being different from the
original schema file such that some of the attribute sequences
are changed. This can cause deployment failures.

Problem conclusion

  • The product now imports the xml.xsd IBM supplied schema file
    into the workspace correctly.

After applying this fix, there are two ways to fix your existing
    xml.xsd files:

    1. If the workspace contains a number of xml.xsd files:
    a) Export the whole workspace to file system.
    b) Search and remove all xml.xsd files in the exported
    workspace.
    c) Import the projects back the workspace. During the import,
the fixed xml.xsd file will be added.

    2. If the workspace only has a few xml.xsd files, choose the
containing project, launch the new Message Model wizard, and
select IBM supplied -> Replace the imported IBM supplied
    definitions.
