Error description

• Tivoli Storage Manager Backup-Archive client installation checks
  whether or not Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 SU1 redistributable
  packages are installed and prompts to install them if they are
  not.  The installation package does not detect newer versions of
   the redistributable package.  The installation prompts the user
   to install SU1 packages for x86 and x64, which both fail.

  Tivoli Storage Manager Backup-Archive Client version 7.1 and
  7.1.1 on Microsoft Windows 7, 2008 or 2012 (All editions)

  Users will encounter the messages below during the installation:
  
  "The installation of Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 SU1
  Redistributable Package (x64) appears to have failed. Do you
  want to continue the installation?"
  
  "The installation of Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 SU1
  Redistributable Package (x86) appears to have failed. Do you
  want to continue the installation?"
  
  The client installation will continue if the user select 'Yes'
  in response to the above questions.
