APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When a WSDL file's extension is NOT all lower case (i.e. not
  *.wsdl), the WSDL file cannot be loaded as a WSDL resource and
  the import of the WSDL fails.
  
  The following error occurs in the new Message Model wizard when
  trying to create a SOAP schema message model from a WSDL file
  without a lower cased extension:
  
  "Error loading WSDL file, check the WSDL for validity. The
  supplied WSDL must declare at least one WSDL binding to properly
  load."
  

Local fix

• Manually change the wsdl file extension to "wsdl" (all lower
  case).
  

Problem summary

  USERS AFFECTED:
  All users of IBM Integration Toolkit V9.0 who import WSDL files
  into the toolkit with an extension that is not all lower case.
  
  
  Platforms affected:

  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  Only a WSDL file with a lower case extension (*.wsdl) can be
  loaded as a WSDL resource in toolkit. If a WSDL file has a
  different extension, such as *.WSDL, the toolkit cannot load the
  resource and build a WSDL resource model.
  

Problem conclusion

• The product has been updated so that WSDL files with extensions
  in any cases will be recognized.
