    * jobs to the PCOM printer session. *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    If a SNA printer is connected over an LLC2 link and it is
    reset by the receipt of DACTLU/ACTLU then if the printer is
    reconnected to the server before the ACTLU is received, VTAM
    may fail to restart the SNA session (no BIND is issued).

Problem conclusion

  • The problem is caused by the ACTLU RSP issued by PCOMM
    incorrectly indicating that the LU-LU session is already
    active. APPN.SYS has been changed to correct this parameter.
    This problem was introduced through previous APAR JR44768.

    Fix scheduled for PCOM 6.0.11 Refresh Pack

Temporary fix
