Error description

  • TDI 7.0 - RemoteCommandLine FC using system user
    
    Description:
    When using the RemoteCommandLine FC to a Windows system, the
    command is
    run by the nt authority\system user and not the user on the
    connection
    tab.
    
    Steps to Duplicate: Setup a RemoteCommandLine FC and set the
    command to
    "whoami".
    
    Desired Behavior: The customer would like the RemoteCommandLine
    FC to
    run the command using the user on the connection tab.
    
    Environment: TDI 7.0 FP 5

Problem summary

  • Problem with RemoteCmdLine FC when used along with WIN protocol.
    

Problem conclusion

  • This is bug in TDI code and has been fixed, formal fix will be
    made available in 7.1.0-TIV-TDI-FP0008.
