IO17141: INFO CENTER AND SUPPORT MATRIX DOES NOT LIST THE CORRECT INFORMATION FOR TDI 7.1.1 64B PACAKAGE ON AIX

Error description

• Info center and support Matrix does not list the correct
  information for
  TDI 7.1.1 64 b package on AIX
  
  
  
  With the new version of tdi (7.1.1), we now ship a 64b java
  engine.  The
  limitation with this package is that any elements related to the
  Config
  Editor or the Eclipse Workbench are not installed (or
  supported).
  
  
  Steps to Duplicate:
  
  Download the Identity Edition: CI772ML.zip
  Install on 64AIX,
  The CE and Eclipse packages are NOT a part of the installer.
  
  
  
  Desired Behavior:  Corrected documentation and limitations.
  
  Environment: TDI 7.1.1 64b package for AIX 64b

Problem summary

• The 7.1.1 infocenter does not mention few details about the new
  64 bit AIX Installer. Following documentation will be added to
  the info center in the next TDI release.
  
  The 64 bit AIX Installer (install_tdiv711_aix_ppc_64.bin) does
  not enlist Configuration Editor (CE ) as a component to Install.
  
  This is mainly due to the limitation from the bundled eclipse
  which CE is based upon. CE is therfore not supportd on AIX 64
  bit with a 64 bit JVM.
  
  
  
  Customers can however run the TDI Configuration Editor on AIX if
  they use the 32 bit AIX installer (install_tdiv711_aix_ppc.bin)
  
  The 32 bit AIX installer bundles the CE and customers can use
  this for developing AssemblyLines.
  

Problem conclusion

• The infoceneter would be updated in the next TDI release.
