Error description
An attachment added in the Services sub-tab of the Plans tab for a work order is no longer visible after a task is added to the respective service. STEPS TO REPRODUCE: 1. Open the Application Designer, search and open the application WOTRCK 2. Click on tab Plans, then on sub-tab Services 3. Click on <Control Palette> and add the control Attachments in the details, above the Task control 4. Save the application definition 5. Right click the attachments control just added and open the properties window. 6. Take a note of the control ID 7. Export the application definition and save the .XML file exported 8. Modify the .XML file for the control added, by adding the following: event="drviewattachments" label="Attachments" menutype="drattachments" 9. Import the application definition from the modified .XML file 10. Open the Database Configuration application, search and open the object WPSERVICE 11. Click on tab Relationships 12. Click on <New Row> and fill in the following: a. Relationship: DOCLINKS b. Child Object: DOCLINKS c. Where Clause: ownertable='WPSERVICE' and ownerid=:WPITEMID 13. Save the object 14. Open the Work Order Tracking application 15. Open a work order with status WAPPR 16. Click on tab Plans and then on sub-tab Services 17. Click on <New Row> and fill in the following a. Service: Test b. Click to add an attachment <Attachments>Add New Attachments>New File> c. Click on <Browse> to specify a file, e.g. Test.txt d. Click <OK> 18. Click on <Attachments>View Attachments> and notice that the file attached previously is displayed 19. In the Tasks area add a new task with the <New Row> button. If the work order has already tasks this step can be skipped 20. In the services sub-tab add a task for the service added at the step 17 21. Save the work order 22. Click on <Attachments>View Attachments> and notice that the file attached previously is no longer displayed 23. By running a select statement in the database it has been noticed that when a task is assigned to a service line the WPITEMID field value changes, and this may be reason why the attachment is no longer displayed because the relationship with DOClINKS is based on this field. RESULT: The attachment is no longer visible. EXPECTED RESULT: The attachment should remain visible. REPORTED IN VERSION: Tivoli's Process Automation engine 7.6.0.9
