  • Error Message:
    A GPF event is received or an IllegalAccessError is thrown.

        the current class or a subtype of interface XXXXX
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • The problem was caused when a class iTable is not built
    correctly
    

Problem conclusion

  • The JVM has been updated so that the class iTable is built
    properly: https://github.com/eclipse/openj9/pull/5072
    .
    This APAR will be fixed in the following Java Releases:
       8    SR5 FP35  (8.0.5.35)
