Problem summary
When a Java class is unresolved, the JIT will need to call VM to resolve it and load the unresolved class pointer. The -Xjit:disableZ10 crash happens because of an incorrect address being used in the z10 class pointer loading sequence.
Problem conclusion
The JIT has been updated for z10 and below to load newly resolved Java class pointers from correct addresses. . This APAR will be fixed in the following Java Releases: 8 SR5 FP26 (8.0.5.26) . Contact your IBM Product's Service Team for these Service Refreshes and Fix Packs. For those running stand-alone, information about the available Service Refreshes and Fix Packs can be found at: https://www.ibm.com/developerworks/java/jdk/
