Error description

  • Error Message: A GPF event is received when an application tries
    to make a JNI call.

Local fix

Problem summary

  • The problem is caused by an issue with the libffi based JNI
    dispatch implementation incorrectly initializing a variable.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The JVM's libffi has been updated to correct the initialization
    issue.
    .
    This APAR will be fixed in the following Java Releases:
       8    SR5 FP27  (8.0.5.27)
