    Below are the updated descriptions for the chart listed in the
    section "Editing the Event Integration Facility configuration".

    RetryInterval
    The length of time in seconds this system waits before
    initiating a retry attempt when sending an event (when the
    previous attempt did not succeed).
    
    getport_total_timeout_usec
    The getport_total_timeout_usec is the total timeout for getting
    a port from the portmapper for the event server. This was for
    backwards compatibility with TEC as that used portmapper. It
    was used to control the overal timeout for gettnig a port from
    the portmapper (not just a single attempt timeout, but total
    time for continual timeouts).
