Problem summary

• While retrieving package information, a NullPointerException is
  thrown. Some generated classes don't have location data and a
  NullPointerException occurs attempting to use the non-existent
  location data to register package location.
  

Problem conclusion

• JVM no longer uses generated classes to register package
  location. This resolves the NullPointerException.
